• Shake Shack To Open Another Long Island Location (patch.com) — Selden diners already have a Shake Shack nearby, and the chain is continuing its Long Island expansion with a new East Meadow location on Hempstead Turnpike. The restaurant, approved for a drive-thru by Hempstead’s zoning board, will join existing spots including Melville, Lake Grove, Tanger Riverhead, and Selden once an opening date is announced.
