Home Goods Set To Open Oct. 22 In Shirley

SHIRLEY, NY — The latest local Home Goods store in eastern Suffolk County is slated to open Oct. 22 at the South Port Shopping Center, according to its website.

The lights were on inside, and workers could be seen prepping the location last weekend. The location, which began hiring in September, has been under construction since the spring.

It joins nearby stores in Riverhead, Patchogue, Stony Brook, and Port Jefferson Station.

Home Goods sells discounted housewares, such as furniture, bedding, rugs, and pet supplies.

Michael's left the spot, which is adjacent to Old Navy, last spring.
