MASTIC, NY — A 29-year-old Shirley man was taken to the slashed with a knife at El Campo Deli Grocery in Mastic on Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said. It happened at around 6:15 a.m. after getting the man got into a dispute with another man, according to police. The man self-transported to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in East Patchogue with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Further details were not available.

The night travels from early Motown sweetness through the social conscience of "What's Going On," the Marvin &amp; Tammi duets with Emily Lucas of That Motown Band, the slow burn of "Let's Get It On," and the joyful release of "Got to Give It Up."
