The Oyster Fest is one of the most anticipated events for Long Islanders and visitors and the largest festival on the east coast drawing over 200,000 visitors.  The historic hamlet of Oyster Bay plays host to an outstanding weekend of family fun, delicious food and festivities!

The event weekend takes place in Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park & Beach and Audrey Avenue, a short walking distance between both. There will be shuttle bus services and golf carts to drive visitors back and forth. Aside from the food courts, visitors can watch or participate in the oyster shucking & oyster eating contests, visit two arts & crafts pavilion, Newton Shows amusement rides and games, the Oyster Bay Brewing Company beer garden & live entertainment throughout the weekend. You can also visit Audrey Avenue to shop the local vendors, enjoy delicious food from the restaurants and learn more about the community!

This year’s Oyster Fest will feature a special Sensory Friendly Family Hour, sponsored by Sensory Island, which takes place from 10-11am on Sunday, October 18th. We will be opening the rides at the festival specifically for children with sensory sensitivities, giving them a chance to enjoy the rides at their own pace before the crowds arrive!
