Massive Police Presence In Northampton As 'Domestic Situation' Unfolds: PD
"There is currently no danger to the community," police say.

NORTHAMPTON, NY — An "escalating domestic situation," in Northampton drew a massive police presence to the area, with a section of the roadway roped off, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, at 2:43 p.m. on Mother's Day, a call came in from a resident regarding the domestic situation.
Patrol units were dispatched to the residence in the area of Topping Drive in Northampton, police said.

Officers secured the scene and an investigation is ongoing with Suffolk County Police Department, police said.
"There is currently no danger to the community," police said.
