• Paddleboarder reported missing off South Jamesport Beach found safe, police say (riverheadlocal.com) — A multi-agency search that included Southampton Town police ended with a paddleboarder found safe and in good health near Peconic Bay Boulevard. Riverhead and Southampton officers, along with the Coast Guard and local fire departments, combed the water after a 911 call from South Jamesport Beach. Police still encourage residents to report any suspicious or criminal activity to their confidential hotline.
