• ‘Get flock out of G-port': North Fork license plate cameras targeted again (timesreview.com) — Southold residents are seeing continued vandalism of the town’s Flock license plate cameras, especially around Greenport, with wires cut, lenses covered and protest signs posted, but no arrests yet. Police Chief Steven Grattan says detectives are processing each scene and that moving the cameras would require new permits and unbudgeted costs, even as the town now operates 11 cameras across Mattituck, Southold, Greenport and East Marion.
   

• High school sports playoff roundup: Soccer, girls volleyball, field hockey and girls swimming (newsday.com) — Southold High School’s boys soccer team fell 2-1 in overtime to Riverhead Charter in the Suffolk Class C final, ending its playoff run despite a strong performance from goalkeeper Grady Brigham. The roundup also highlights other Long Island playoff results in soccer, volleyball, field hockey and swimming that Southold sports fans may be following.
