Dowling now joins the department’s command staff and will help guide the Spring Valley Police Department through its ongoing leadership transition while continuing to serve village residents. 
• Deputy Mayor Yisroel Eisenbach: Route 59 Bridge Reconstruction Enters Final Stretch (rocklanddaily.com) — Construction on the Route 59 bridge in Spring Valley is on track to wrap up by the end of August, promising full access after months of disruption. Crews will start pouring new sidewalks on August 11 while also repairing damaged concrete along Pascack Road, as Deputy Mayor Yisroel Eisenbach continues to monitor the project’s final stages.
• Police release details of Monsey crash involving seven children and two adults (midhudsonnews.com) — A serious crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Ramapo injured seven children and two adults, including a male passenger from Spring Valley. The children, ages five to ten and traveling from a Chestnut Ridge school, mostly suffered non-life-threatening injuries, though one remains in critical but stable condition as State Police continue investigating.
