The Hall, which opened its first permanent building in Stony Brook in 2022, continues drawing major music names and visitors right to Main Street, adding cultural energy and foot traffic to the village.
   

4. Stony Brook Southampton names new chief medical officer (libn.com) — Stony Brook Southampton Hospital has named Dr. Richard Stumacher its new chief medical officer, strengthening the leadership team within the broader Stony Brook Medicine network. With deep experience in quality, safety, and AI‑driven care, he’s expected to help expand access and clinical programs that connect Southampton and Stony Brook University Hospital for East End communities.
