Huntington Station spa employee accused of forcibly touching a woman during a massage (news12.com) — A Syosset man working at a Huntington Station spa has been charged with forcible touching after a customer reported being inappropriately touched during a December 2025 massage. Police say the woman came forward after the employee later contacted her on Facebook, and investigators are now asking anyone else who believes they were victimized to call the Suffolk County Second Squad.

Amazon $1B, 140-acre Holbrook warehouse opposed by some residents, who are getting organized (newsday.com) — Long Island residents are mobilizing against a proposed $1 billion, 4.2‑million‑square‑foot Amazon warehouse in Holbrook that would dwarf the existing Syosset delivery station by 21 times. Organizers are scrutinizing traffic and environmental impacts, planning petitions, and preparing to pressure Islip Town officials as Amazon revises its application and pledges to work with the community.
