Judge Matthew Doran has promised a sentence of 12 years to life in prison, after prosecutors and defense debated the appropriate range for a 15-year-old offender, and sentencing is set for October 13.

Hiker Snaps Pic Of Either Bigfoot Or An Old Guy Skinny Dipping (iheart.com) — A hiker in remote Onondaga County snapped a blurry photo of a mysterious figure wading in a pond, now dubbed the "Syracuse Figure." Bigfoot researchers say it could be anything from a skinny-dipping older man to an unknown creature, and they're asking people in the Syracuse area if they recognize whoever—or whatever—it is.
