Residents should look for 15 mL bottles from lot 2552A, expiring September 30, 2027, as the FDA warns of possible contamination that could cause temporary but reversible eye problems, even though serious risks are considered unlikely.
   

• Popular eye drops recalled nationwide due to potential contamination (wate.com) — A nationwide recall of nearly 40,000 Clear Eyes bottles is tied to Prestige Brands, whose headquarters are in Tarrytown, after the FDA flagged possible contamination and lack of sterility assurance. Tarrytown residents who use Clear Eyes should check lot 2552A, expiring September 30, 2027, and follow FDA guidance as the Class II recall covers products that could cause temporary but reversible health issues.
