Many Greenburgh residents may be eligible for a discount on their heating bills this winter. The discounts are part of the state's new Enhanced Energy Affordability Program. .

In the past, the Energy Affordability Program made discounts available to people receiving a range of social service support. But under new financial guidelines, households not previously eligible for discounts can get a break too. For example, if you're a ConEd customer in a three-person household, you may qualify if you have household income of up to $145,800 a year.
