• Stolen vehicle pursuit ends with arrests in Buffalo (newportdispatch.com) — West Seneca police say a high-speed pursuit that began on East & West Road ended in Buffalo with three people arrested after a stolen SUV was abandoned and its eight occupants ran. Officers from West Seneca and Buffalo recovered the vehicle, filed felony stolen-property charges, and released two juveniles to their parents while an adult suspect faces Town Court proceedings.
   

• FREE Admission: Live Dj Disco Night at Buffalo River Grove (stepoutbuffalo.com) — A free disco-themed music and dancing night is coming to Buffalo River Grove Picnic & Event Center on Clinton Street in West Seneca on Saturday, August 15, with food and drink specials, a full cash bar, and lawn games. Doors open at 5 p.m., music runs until 9:30 p.m., and the rain-or-shine event includes a balloon drop and a giveaway for a future balloon garland.
