Federal prison term for Yorktown man who sold fatal dose of fentanyl (lohud.com) — A man who sold fentanyl in and around Yorktown has been sentenced to just over 24 years in federal prison after a dose led to the death of Yorktown resident Brian Cobb. Duo Steal Over $2.6K In Items From Lowe's In Yorktown Over Months: Police (dailyvoice.com) — Two Yorktown residents are accused of repeatedly stealing merchandise totaling about $2,678 from the Lowe’s on Crompond Road in Yorktown Heights between April and July. Police say the pair were arrested after an investigation with store security and are due in Yorktown Justice Court later this month, a reminder of ongoing retail theft issues at a major local retailer.
