The Answer To Cabin Fever: Muscoot Farm's Winter Festival Is Back For 2026
The growing annual tradition promises hands-on activities, live music, tasty food and classic farm experiences.

SOMERS, NY — The Alfred B. DelBello Muscoot Farm will once again celebrate winter this weekend at its annual Winter Festival.
The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 10.
"Winter is a special time to slow down, explore and reconnect with the outdoors. Muscoot Farm's Winter Festival invites families to enjoy the season, learn something new and create lasting memories together," County Executive Ken Jenkins said. "Events like this showcase how our parks provide welcoming, educational experiences for residents of all ages throughout the year."

In addition to tree-tapping demonstrations at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., guests will be able to visit the Sugar Shack anytime between noon and 3 p.m. to learn how maple syrup is made.
There will be several hands-on crafts and activities, including a snowflake craft station to add to the Winter Festival wall. Collier's Candle Co. will demonstrate its clean-burning, eco-friendly candle-making process and help children create their own rolled beeswax candle to take home.

The day will also include Muscoot's beloved farm animals, along with live music by Chris Lawler, local vendors, and two food trucks: Three Little Pigs BBQ and Leila's Crepe Station.
"Muscoot offers family-friendly attractions throughout the year, and this festival celebrates the unique beauty and fun of winter on the farm," Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Kathy O'Connor said.
Alfred B. DelBello Muscoot Farm is a 777-acre, early 1900s interpretive farm and a Westchester County park, located at 51 Route 100 between Somers, Katonah, and Yorktown. For more information, visit the farm’s website.
Due to construction on Route 100, between Moseman Ave. and Muscoot Farm, access to the farm will only be available from Route 35. If traveling from south of Muscoot Farm along Route 100, follow the detour signs at Moseman Ave., or find an alternate route to the farm from Route 35 and then take Route 100 south.
