Post Office Holding Job Fairs In Westchester, Rockland
The United States Postal Service said it's looking for new team members to serve local communities through immediate openings.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A major employer is offering immediate openings for jobs in Westchester and Rockland counties.
The United States Postal Service said it’s looking for new team members to serve local communities throughout the lower Hudson Valley.
Mark Lawrence, a strategic communications specialist for the USPS, told Patch that a career with the Postal Service offers health and retirement benefits, good pay, stable employment, paid training and the ability for career advancement throughout the organization.

“The Postal Service is a great opportunity for applicants to work in a fast-paced environment, either indoors or outdoors, while delivering for the American people,” he said.
The postal service will be hosting job fairs in Westchester and Rockland counties to fill immediate openings in the region for the following positions:

- City carrier assistants: $19.33 per hour
- Rural carrier associate: $19.94 per hour
- PSE clerk: $20.05 per hour

USPS personnel will be onsite at the job fairs to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions.
Applications are accepted online only at this website.
Officials said applicants must be 18 years of age and able to pass drug screening and a background investigation.
Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
