• Randy Martin to return as Morehead City interim manager starting May 1, 2026 (wcti12.com) — Emerald Isle residents may recognize Randy Martin, who previously served as interim manager there in 2018 and 2025, as he’s now been tapped to return as Morehead City’s interim manager starting May 1. He’ll work part-time for up to five months while Morehead City conducts an external search for a permanent manager, continuing his long career in local government leadership along the Crystal Coast.
