Explorers Club Fly Fishing Expedition with Maker Jeff
Ready to step into the creek and learn the art of fly fishing?Join Maker Jeff of WNC On The Fly Fishing Co. for our Explorers Club Fly Fishing Expedition on Saturday, June 27, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Whether you've never picked up a fly rod or you're looking to improve your skills, Jeff will provide hands-on instruction both on shore and in the water. Participants will learn the fundamentals of fly fishing, casting techniques, reading water, selecting flies, and stream etiquette before putting those skills to work in the beautiful waters of Fires Creek.
Cost: $275 per angler
Meet at 9:30am in the parking lot across from the campground on Fires Creek Wildlife Road in Hayesville, NC.
What to Bring:
• Shorts or quick-dry pants
• Hat
• Sunglasses
• Wading shoes (if you have them)No wading shoes? No problem. Shoes will be provided for those who need them.
Anglers must possess a valid North Carolina fishing license.
This experience includes both instruction and water time, so be prepared to get your feet wet and learn from one of the area's most experienced guides.
