• New Hendersonville greenway to link neighborhoods east and west of I-26 (blueridgenow.com) — Hendersonville is moving ahead with the new Clear Creek Greenway, a nearly two-mile mixed-use trail that will link neighborhoods across I-26 and serve over 1,000 nearby households. Funded by federal, state and private dollars, construction is expected to finish in phases by fall 2026 and spring 2027, expanding the city’s growing network of bike and walking paths.

She connects her Hendersonville roots, Appalachian spirituality, and decades of work for racial, gender, and LGBTQ+ justice to current efforts to defend voting rights and push back against Christian nationalism.
