• Brunswick County issues Stage 1 Water Conservation Alert (newsargus.com) — Ocean Isle Beach water customers are now under a Stage 1 Water Conservation Alert because countywide demand has topped 80% of system capacity. Residents are asked to voluntarily cut back, especially on lawn irrigation, to avoid stricter mandatory rules, and can find updates or ask questions through Brunswick County Public Utilities and their local water provider.
