Thanks to relatively strong local incomes and moderate rents, the city tops more than 180 U.S. markets for rent affordability, beating places like Sioux Falls, Fargo, and even Miami by a wide margin.

Out-of-state company takes over Bismarck Event Center (kfyrtv.com) — Bismarck’s Event Center and Belle Mehus Auditorium are shifting to management by Denver-based Oak View Group under a 20-year deal that includes a $5 million local investment.
