• Municipal Pool cancels Tuesday night late swim (adaicon.com) — Ada’s municipal pool has canceled Tuesday night swims for the rest of the season after repeated rule violations, disrespect, and threats toward mostly teen staff. Village officials say they may replace the time slot with other events and are stressing a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol and marijuana anywhere on pool property, including the parking lot. Residents are urged to follow updates from the village.

• 5-Acre Sanctuary for Pollinators and Purple Martins Taking on ONU Campus (wktn.com) — A new 5-acre sanctuary for pollinators and purple martins is taking shape around the Nature Pond on Ohio Northern University’s Ada campus, already buzzing with life after students planted nearly 100 native species. Over the next three years, controlled burns, added shrubs, and pond improvements will create a rich habitat and colorful prairie from June through October. The project aims to support wildlife while giving the community a vibrant natural space.
