• Beachwood housing development project at former temple site put on hold (cleveland.com) — Beachwood's plan to turn the former Fairmount Temple property into senior-focused housing is on pause after the city and its developer couldn't agree on financing. The city still owns the 17-acre site, is pursuing a limited blight designation to enable demolition of the deteriorating building, and says it remains committed to future housing that lets older residents stay in Beachwood. 
• CVC Football Friday Night Recap: Four teams improve to 6-0 (chagrinvalleyconference.com) — Beachwood football edged Brooklyn, 14–12, thanks to two successful extra points after trading rushing touchdowns in a tight defensive game. The wider Chagrin Valley Conference roundup shows several nearby teams staying unbeaten, key rushing and passing performances, and sets up next week's Metro Division slate, including Beachwood's trip to Independence.
