• Beavercreek raising funds to replace beloved Shoup Park slide (wyso.org) — Beavercreek has closed the beloved metal slide at Shoup Park and is trying to raise about $100,000 to replace it with a safer, custom-built metal slide and other park upgrades. After recent parks levies failed and budgets were cut, city staff are turning to residents for donations and feedback to preserve the slide’s character while improving safety, drainage, and accessibility.
