• Bedford Heights teen drowns in Aurora lake Thursday afternoon, officials say (wkyc.com) — A 15-year-old boy from Bedford Heights drowned Thursday afternoon while swimming in a quarry lake in Aurora, according to local officials. Emergency crews and a regional water rescue team searched the lake for nearly two hours before recovering his body about 25 feet from shore. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
