• Chavez announces local projects included in Ohio funding bill (mariettatimes.com) — Belpre residents could see a big boost to local pediatric care, with $400,000 in state capital funding slated for Akron Children’s Hospital’s Belpre Pediatric Primary Care Office project. The same bill also directs money to Washington County schools, parks, museums, childcare centers, and fairgrounds, as part of more than $8 million in district-wide investments now moving to the Ohio House.
