• Factory Fallout: Manufacturing layoffs from Bausch & Lomb, Jabil Inc., Southwire and more and more (plantservices.com) — Downlite International is closing its Blue Ash bedding factory this summer, with layoffs scheduled between June 19 and July 2 following the company’s recent acquisition. The same move affects its Mason, Ohio and Monroe, North Carolina plants, as part of a broader wave of manufacturing cutbacks nationwide. Blue Ash workers are being permanently laid off as operations consolidate elsewhere.
