• Brecksville asks Cuyahoga County to reallocate ARPA funds for message board, restroom renovations (cleveland.com subscription) — Brecksville officials are asking Cuyahoga County to let the city redirect $25,000 in leftover federal ARPA grant money toward a portable electronic message board and handicap-accessible restroom upgrades at Ralph DeSantis Field. The funds became available after part of last year's Kids Quarters playground project came in under budget, and county council will make the final decision on the request. 
• RTA delays Cleveland bus cuts until after May 2027 vote (cleveland.com) — Brecksville riders who depend on RTA's Route 77 will keep their current rush-hour frequency for now, after the agency delayed planned bus service cuts until after a May 2027 tax vote. The decision temporarily preserves several Cleveland-area routes while RTA weighs a possible sales-tax increase to stabilize its long-term finances and avoid deeper reductions.
