They're asking residents to share feedback on social, environmental, and economic impacts online, by phone, email, or mail before October 28 as they study long-term options. 
• Brecksville man pleads guilty in $3M investment fraud scheme (fox8.com) — A Brecksville resident has pleaded guilty in federal court to running a fake investment scheme that took more than $3 million from victims in Ohio and Florida. Prosecutors say he spent nearly half at casinos and now faces lengthy prison time and major fines, with sentencing set for January 7, 2027.
