• MAP: Cuyahoga County is fixing 22 local roads through 2028 — see if your community is on the list (cleveland.com) — Cuyahoga County plans to help fund resurfacing of Ridge Road between Flowerdale and Memphis avenues in Brooklyn as part of a 22-project, $17.6 million road-improvement program through 2028. Most work, including Brooklyn’s, is expected in 2027, meaning drivers should anticipate construction but also smoother, safer commutes once the upgrades are complete.
   

• Brooklyn City Schools announces Hall of Fame Class of 2026 (cleveland.com) — Brooklyn City Schools has announced its 2026 Hall of Fame class, honoring several distinguished alumni and the 2001-2002 boys’ basketball team at a ceremony set for Sept. 24 in the high school gym. All inductees, plus community award honoree Bob Hennings, were nominated by Brooklyn residents, staff, students, and graduates, highlighting the district’s pride in its diverse community.
