• Little Free Libraries pop up all over Stark County (cantonrep.com) — Little Free Libraries are flourishing across Stark County, including a Girl Scout–built box at North Canton's Rotary Park that's become a popular neighborhood stop. Aultman College's long-running library and dozens of other boxes are helping families easily access free books, especially for children. Residents are encouraged to start their own simple book-exchange boxes to keep the reading momentum going.
   

• JCSU Football 'Figures It Out' in Dominant Hall of Fame Classic Win (hbcugameday.com) — Johnson C. Smith University's football team bounced back in Canton dominating Albany State 27-7 in the Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. A strong running game, steadier quarterback play, and a stingy defense helped secure the Hall of Fame Classic trophy. Coaches say the performance marked real progress, but there's still work ahead.
