• Judge rejects a new trial for sex offender (dailystandard.com) — A visiting judge in Celina has denied a convicted offender’s request for a new trial in Mercer County Common Pleas Court, finding no juror misconduct in his 2025 case. The ruling, based on testimony and affidavits from an April 2 hearing, leaves the lengthy prison sentence in place, though the defense still has 30 days to appeal.
