1. Cincinnati Police identify man killed in officer-involved shooting at Talbert House (local12.com) — Cincinnati police have identified 33-year-old Cortez Bailey as the man shot and killed by officers during a confrontation at the Talbert House on Central Parkway Friday night. Officials say Bailey, believed to be a resident there, exchanged gunfire with officers before they fatally shot him, then attempted lifesaving measures. The investigation continues, and involved officers are on administrative leave.
   

2. CPD: Woman suffers potentially life-threatening injuries after shooting in downtown Cincinnati (wlwt.com) — A woman suffered potentially life-threatening injuries in a Saturday night shooting just off East Court Street near Kroger's On the Rhine store in downtown Cincinnati. Police have released few details so far, and investigators are still working to learn more about what happened.
   

3. VA sends more than $32M to Ohio organizations helping homeless veterans (local12.com) — Ohio organizations, including those connected to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, are receiving more than $32 million in federal grants to help homeless veterans or those at risk of losing housing. The funding will support housing, case management, and specialized services, and veterans in crisis can call a national hotline for immediate help.
   

4. Cole Tabb's 3 TDs lift Cincinnati past Kansas State (statenews.net) — University of Cincinnati football fans can celebrate a big home win after Cole Tabb rushed for three touchdowns to lift the Bearcats over previously unbeaten Kansas State, 31-26. Cincinnati erased a halftime deficit with a dominant third quarter and a late scoring drive. The victory moves UC to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in Big 12 play.
