Meet Valor and Grace, Cleveland police's new ponies (fox8.com) — Cleveland's Police Mounted Unit just added two miniature ponies, Valor and Grace, chosen and named by local residents to help officers connect with the community. Introduced at the East 38th Street stables, the pair will support outreach events and also offer officers a lighthearted way to decompress and manage stress during difficult shifts.
   

2. Cleveland State University opens reimagined Fenn Tower, eyes other major campus projects (news5cleveland.com) — Cleveland State University has reopened Fenn Tower as a refreshed first-year residence hall and is now planning major upgrades to Fenn Hall, Rhodes Tower, and the Wolstein Center site. These projects could change student housing, research space, and where fans watch CSU sports, while also reshaping a key stretch of downtown Cleveland over the next several years.
   

3. Doctors face discipline over suspect in Cleveland officer murder: I-Team (fox8.com) — Cleveland residents following the case of slain police officer Jamieson Ritter now know two state hospital doctors face possible discipline over how they handled treatment of suspect Delawnte Hardy, who remains incompetent for trial. The Ohio Medical Board and Cuyahoga County prosecutors are scrutinizing the doctors' decisions on antipsychotic medication as officials seek to move Hardy and restart progress toward a trial.
   

4. AAA: Northeast Ohio gas prices take big jump compared to last week (fox8.com) — Drivers in Cleveland are now paying about $4.55 per gallon for regular gas, up 34 cents in just a week and nearing this year's record. AAA blames global oil market turmoil tied to Middle East tensions, warning Cleveland motorists that even if conditions improve, pump prices are likely to fall much more slowly than they rose.
   

5. You could win tickets to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Rocket Arena! (audacy.com) — Cleveland rock fans can enter a WNCX contest next week for a chance to win tickets to Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Rocket Arena downtown on December 22. Listeners must catch the daily "Workforce Winning Word," submit it online, and be ready to use a mobile ticketing app if selected among up to fifteen winners.
