The former Cleveland divorce attorney charged in the case remains free on bond under strict conditions, with the next pre-trial hearing set for September 14.

Cleveland Public Library workers ratify contract, avert strike (cleveland.com) — Cleveland Public Library workers have approved a new contract that averts a planned strike and delivers 15% in wage increases plus new paid parental leave and other benefits. Nearly 400 employees will see retroactive pay, bonuses, and stronger workplace protections, while the library's board is set to finalize the deal in a ratification vote today.

Cleveland Nepali student rallies support as friends remain missing after Nepal flash flood (wkyc.com) — A Cleveland-based Nepali graduate student at Case Western Reserve University is anxiously awaiting news about friends missing after catastrophic flooding and landslides in Nepal. Alongside the broader Northeast Ohio Nepali community, he's organizing disaster relief fundraising and support for local students while monitoring the rising death toll and ongoing search for hundreds of missing people, including tourists.
