• Agencies diffuse dangerous situation in Dover (wjer.com) — A heavily armed man allegedly threatening himself and others prompted a swift multi-agency police response Monday morning near state Route 39, Saltwell and Red Hill roads in Dover. Officers quickly contained the situation, closed nearby roads, and safely took the man into custody for hospital evaluation, with a Dover–New Philadelphia emergency team and Tuscarawas County agencies all involved.
