Colleagues, including broadcaster Jim Nantz, remembered 31‑year‑old Bryce Adair as a beloved teammate and Emmy‑winning professional, while investigators say alcohol and drugs are not suspected. 
2. As dead mall claims rise, Ohioans reminisce this Columbus shopping center (614now.com) — The Mall at Tuttle Crossing in Dublin is still open, but a viral video of its many empty storefronts has locals mourning what was once a bustling shopping hub. OhioHealth to close Grady Memorial maternity unit as births decline (dispatch.com) — OhioHealth will close the maternity unit at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware on July 31, with many families already opting to deliver at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital or Riverside Methodist in Franklin County. Prenatal and postnatal care will remain available locally, and Grady’s ER will still handle emergency deliveries, but routine births are shifting toward larger hospitals like Dublin Methodist.
4. Trinity Episcopal Church to host 5th annual Pride Mass in Columbus Thursday (abc6onyourside.com) — Two Episcopal congregations in Dublin, St. Luke’s and St. Patrick’s, are among several Central Ohio churches joining Trinity Episcopal Church on Capitol Square for a Pride Mass in downtown Columbus Thursday evening. The inclusive service, led by LGBTQ+ clergy and featuring Trinity’s choir, welcomes people from any or no faith background and emphasizes full affirmation of queer leadership and same-sex marriages in the church.
