• Irene Thelma Bressler (jewishnewsva.org) — Englewood residents are mourning longtime community member Irene Thelma Bressler, who passed away March 23 at age 87 after spending her last seven years at Brookdale Assisted Living in Englewood. A devoted homemaker and active Jewish community volunteer, she raised her family in the Dayton area, led the local Hadassah chapter, and is remembered by three children, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
