• Dutch Bros Coffee coming to former Stow-Glen, Fitworks moving to site (beaconjournal.com) — Fairlawn is slated to get a new Dutch Bros Coffee drive-thru in the former Skyway location, marking one of the chain's first Northeast Ohio spots. Alongside a new Stow location and other nearby retail additions, residents can expect more options for coffee, snacks, and quick stops in the coming months.
   

• Real estate transfers in Greater Akron for early February 2026 (kentucky.com) — Several Fairlawn homes changed hands in early February, including properties on Chestnut Lane, Stanley Road, Corunna Avenue and Morewood Road, with prices ranging from the low $200,000s to nearly $800,000. • Terrific Twilight: Fairlawn Rotary Observatory (akronlife.com) — Fairlawn residents helped make the Bath Nature Preserve's Rotary Observatory a reality, and it's now hosting regular public stargazing nights just a short drive away. The volunteer-run facility offers accessible telescopes, educational programs, and special events like International Observe the Moon Night on Sept. 19 and a meet-and-greet with a telescope raffle on Oct. 3.
