• HVAC failure evacuates Green Springs nursing home — TiffinOhio.net (tiffinohio.net) — Residents at Spring Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Green Springs were evacuated Tuesday after an HVAC failure pushed indoor temperatures into the 90s, triggering a major multi-agency response. Local fire, police, and county emergency teams set up a cooling center, sent the most fragile patients to Bellevue Hospital, and brought in generators and portable AC so most residents could safely return by late afternoon.
