• Commissioners approve program partnership with Greenville (dailyadvocate.com) — Darke County commissioners have approved a 2026 CHIP housing grant partnership with the City of Greenville that could bring up to $700,000 for homeowner rehab and repair projects split between city and county residents. The board also awarded an $81,834 contract for the next phase of Main Street sidewalk replacements in the Village of Palestine, continuing infrastructure upgrades in the area.
