• Columbus ax-throwing business closes all locations (dispatch.com) — Grove City residents who enjoyed Dueling Axes will need a new hangout spot, as the ax-throwing chain has closed all its brick-and-mortar locations, including the Grove City venue. Owners cite circumstances beyond their control and are now winding down operations. A Canal Winchester art studio has taken over the mobile ax-throwing unit, which will still serve events around the Columbus area.
   

• Grove City man on electronic monitoring, pleads not guilty in shooting of abuse suspect (abc6onyourside.com) — A Grove City man accused of shooting a 20-year-old tied to an alleged child sex abuse case is now on electronic monitoring while his Franklin County case proceeds. Prosecutors say he lured the man to his home and fired three shots, while the alleged abuse suspect was later arrested on multiple charges. The judge set a recognizance bond and will schedule the next hearing once assigned.
