• Henry awarded Bruce E. Higham Scholarship (peakofohio.com) — A longtime Jamestown resident’s legacy is helping fund a full-ride scholarship for a Bellefontaine High School senior. The Jamestown Area Foundation’s Bruce E. Higham Trust is covering four years of college costs for Lorenz Henry, who will study mechanical engineering at Ohio State. The award includes tuition, room, board, books, and academic supplies at any Ohio public university.

• Ohio Baseball Falls Short in Midweek Matchup at Northern Kentucky (ohiobobcats.com) — Jamestown is represented on the mound as junior pitcher Hunter Brooks threw a scoreless inning for Ohio University in an 11-8 loss at Northern Kentucky.
