• Columbiana County Park District Board down to three members now (morningjournalnews.com) — Leadership on the Columbiana County Park District Board, based in Lisbon, has shrunk to just three members after longtime member David Hughes’ resignation took effect in March. With another seat already vacant, the county court now must appoint two new members, and applications are being accepted through April 30. Remaining members say they’re focused on keeping park operations stable during the transition. 
• Former inspector accused of falsifying food inspection reports (wkbn.com) — Lisbon-area readers should know a former East Liverpool City Health District inspector has been indicted in Columbiana County on 23 felony counts tied to alleged falsification of state food inspection reports. The Salem resident is free on bond and due in court April 30, and officials say he no longer works for either the East Liverpool or Salem health districts.
• Heartland Christian puts 13 runs on Lisbon (reviewonline.com) — Lisbon’s Blue Devils baseball team fell 13-4 to Heartland Christian at Dickey Field, despite briefly closing the gap to 4-3 in the second inning. Strong defensive plays kept Lisbon in it, and the team is right back in action today against United at Eastwood Field in Niles, giving local fans another chance to see them compete.
