• PUCO splits decision on Aqua Ohio rate increase (wkbn.com) — Masury water customers served by Aqua Ohio will soon see their monthly bills rise by about $9 to $15 after state regulators approved a usage-based rate increase. Fixed customer charges will stay the same, but roughly 1,600 Masury households will pay more per gallon to help fund utility projects and operations, despite concerns raised at a January town hall.
   

• Bond set at $300K for Masury man after allegedly attempting to burn down house with family inside (wfmj.com) — A Masury resident is being held on $300,000 bond after police say a domestic dispute on Roberts Street escalated into an alleged attempt to set a gasoline-fueled fire in a multi-unit home where young children were present. Brookfield police and fire crews evacuated residents, secured utilities, and the man now faces serious felony charges with a court hearing set for June 18.
