Trade screen time for stream time. A guided, mid-week summer forest bathing experience in Lake County’s hidden waterfall shale gorges.
Are you running on empty this summer?📱🔥
By mid-July, the heat leaves us sluggish, the digital noise never stops buzzing, and our minds feel totally burnt out. We promise ourselves we will slow down, but our calendars keep filling up.It’s time to pull the plug. Welcome to Unplug & Flow: A 4-Part Waterfall Forest Bathing Series.
This is not a strenuous fitness hike or a standard nature trail walk. It is a hyper-slow, deeply restorative sensory immersion rooted in the science-backed principles of Shinrin-yoku (Japanese forest bathing).
Every Tuesday morning, we will gather to beat the afternoon heat and busy weekend crowds. We will step under the deep shade of old-growth trees and walk directly into Lake County's most stunning, slate-carved ravines. Using a blend of mindfulness, custom invitation cards, tactile mud sculpting, and floating leaf art, we will let the healing power of water reset our internal pacing.
🗓️ The Summer Waterfall Schedule:
📍 Week 1: Paine Falls Park | Auditory Sound Mapping & Deep Acoustic Decompression
📍 Week 2: Penitentiary Glen Reservation | Immune-Boosting Phytoncides & Microclimate Temperature Shifting
📍 Week 3: Chair Factory Falls | Time-Scale Awareness & History-in-Nature Reflection
📍 Week 4: Jordan Creek Park | Somatic Barefoot Wading, Oracle Card Reflections & Closing Sun Tea Ceremony
✨ What Your Restorative Experience Includes:
- The Threshold Chime: A tuning fork sound alignment to mark the transition out of your busy week.
- Interactive Invitations: Custom prompts (options include hammock relaxation, water music mapping, and rock touching) to keep your mind anchored in the present.
- The Ephemeral Art Gallery: Tactile play with river mud, leaf-boat releases, and shale stone mandalas.

- 🌲 Experience Level: No prior mindfulness or meditation experience required. All fitness levels are welcome, though trails involve descending rustic steps into dirt gorge beds.
- 🌧️ Weather Policy: We walk in light summer rain (the tree canopy provides excellent shelter!). In the event of severe thunderstorms or lightning, a pre-scheduled rain date or immediate refund will be issued.
