2. Driver dies after crash into Sharon Township home (yourohionews.com) — Medina County authorities are investigating a June 10 crash in Sharon Township where a 56-year-old driver died after his pickup left state Route 94 and struck a home, possibly due to a medical emergency. The Medina County Sheriff’s Office, Sharon EMS, Wadsworth Police, and the county’s All Hazards Structural Collapse Team all responded, and no additional injuries were reported.

Top Northeast Ohio fishing spots: ODNR (fox8.com) — If you’re looking to fish close to home, Chippewa Lake in Medina County is producing saugeye up to 26 inches, thanks to annual stocking of about 34,000 fingerlings. ODNR also spotlights several other Northeast Ohio lakes and reminds residents about license costs and the upcoming Free Fishing Days June 20–21.

Ohio girls lacrosse all-state teams for announced for 2026 season (cleveland.com) — Two Medina High School athletes, Audrey Thompson and Campbell Burns, have been named to the Ohio girls Division I lacrosse all-state first and second teams, respectively.
