• Man convicted of 20+ bank robberies receives federal indictment for another (wkbn.com) — A recent bank robbery on Miamisburg Centerville Road has led to a federal indictment for a 62-year-old Dayton man. Prosecutors say he stole $9,000 from a Key Bank while disguised as a construction worker before being arrested hours later. He now faces up to 20 years in prison and has prior convictions for more than 20 bank robberies. 
• Woman dead after two-vehicle crash in Miami Twp. (wdtn.com) — A 55-year-old woman from Miamisburg died after her car was struck in a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening at the State Route 741 and Austin Boulevard intersection in Miami Township. State troopers say she drove through a red light before being hit, and the other driver and a juvenile passenger suffered only minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
• Senior Dance BFA Concert showcases student choreography April 25-26 (sru.edu) — A Miamisburg High School graduate, Amber Kay, is one of 11 senior dance majors presenting original choreography in Slippery Rock University’s capstone concert later this month. Her piece examines mental health deterioration before incarceration, featured alongside works exploring identity, memory, addiction, and censorship. Local families with ties to SRU or dance may be especially interested.
