Owners Laura and Quinn Desmond juggle careers, parenting, and innkeeping while hosting parents, sports fans, and community events year-round, turning their five-acre property into a gathering place for graduations, holidays, and local celebrations. 
• RedHawks, Falcons Sweep Thursday Night MACtion (getsomemaction.com) — Miami volleyball gave home fans in Oxford something to cheer about, sweeping Buffalo in three sets at Millett Hall. Strong performances from hitters like Molly Creech and solid blocking and serving helped the RedHawks control every set, improving their MAC record and setting the tone for the rest of conference play.
• Dozens show up for TOPSS food drive during critical need (oxfreepress.com) — Oxford neighbors recently filled tables with nearly a ton of food for Talawanda Oxford Pantry and Social Services, but TOPSS says demand is still rising and shelves are low. With more local families, children, and seniors seeking help, residents are urged to keep donating food or money and can drop items at the College Corner Pike facility or give online or by phone.
